Poor. Very poor. Disrespectful and not responsible in their "trust" relationship with consumers and the agencies they supposedly serve. I received an announcement of a cyberattack without telling me who involved me with their services or provided me enough orienting info to demonstrate their appeal was not a scam. In a 3 page letter SBA sent to me there was nothing orienting me to how they came to write to me, nor an indication that the info they were giving me to get "free credit monitoring" as a result of their information breach was not actually a scam. If they are a offering a legit part of Experian some information or way of validating their offer before requesting I give my social security number would be appropriate. I'm offended that Mission Health, my alleged link to SBA, did not notify me and that appropriate identity information was not provided. It is disrespectful on the part of SBA and Mission Health, but I fear may be typical of the ways trusting consumer's private information is handled cavalierly. It is basically unethical, very simply.
