Highland Bakery & Kitchen - Cumberland

Disappointed. They need to update their hours if they're not going to be there. Came during their operating hours on a Sunday (around 10am) and no one was there. Nowhere was it mentioned that they were supposed to be closed that day. At least alert people with a sign instead of just being closed when you're supposed to be open. Thanks to this, I have no intentions on visiting in the future.

Great lunch spot for the family. The setting and furniture is more of a Diner than a bakery. The service was friendly and I loved my fried chicken sandwich. The wait for the food was a little long, but that might be because the bakery is new. Parking was a little tough.

Had brunch for my Sun’s birthday.. amazing! Their jalapeño focaccia is problematic 🤤 My husband ordered shrimp and grits, I ordered the rustic Italian (not on focaccia 😭 but yum) and our kid had a custom breakfast sandwich. Everything including the service was great.

Food and personnel are always great, however the waiting time to receive your food is pretty long. This is our second time at this location and we hoped it would be better but we have again waited past 30-40 minutes to receive our food. Both times I ordered just simple oatmeal so it’s kind of frustrating for them to take this long.
