    1. Crab mac and cheese was re-heated. I didn't finish my food although I can't quite remember what I ordered. To be completely honest, it was so dark I never even saw my food. 2. It was wayy too dark. I mean, I get the low-ambient light thing and I'm actually a fan of it. I tried to find my waitress at one point and looked up and just gave up because I couldn't make out anybody's face. Also I couldn't even tell if my food looked okay because I couldn't see it. 3. The other bad reviews are just about right on the money. The service is some of the worst I've encountered in a while. I went for my birthday dinner so I didn't even pay for my own food. It was a totally free meal for me and I left embarrassed for choosing to eat there. It was in february so I don't remember a lot of details but this place is just so poorly run it's hilarious.

We showed up 20 minutes after open, the first ones in the restaurant. Took 30 minutes to be served. My omelet was haphazard and overcooked. My dining partner's pot roast was good. Any service had to be requested. Took an hour and a half to get in and out.

After 2 great experiences at P'cheen, we jumped at the chance to take part in their Scoutmob Handpicked deal offering. However, after a terrible experience with the valet service and poor/no greeting upon arrival, we were off to a bad start with our third time around. We made a reservation a week in advance and the restaurant was not that busy when we arrived, however, we were placed directly in front of the kitchen window, where all the wait staff gathered to get food and chit chat with the chefs. No waitress ever greeted us; they just filled up water and asked what we wanted to drink. Anytime we placed an order for another drink, appetizer, meal, etc. we were met with attitude and annoyance. At one point, the waitress asked if we wanted another cocktail. We asked for the menu, which she quickly handed us and walked away. It took 20 minutes before she came asking for our order. In addition, they took away cocktails that still had liquid in them and didn't react when we tried to yell at them to give it back. With our close proximity to the bar and the kitchen, we could have easily just done everything ourselves without the poor service. The food is excellent. It is what has brought us back each time (not to mention that the previous times we have had excellent service as well!). Don't miss out on the "just trust us" appetizer. It is a great idea and always fun to be surprised! However, we did get a bad surprise at the end of our meal. The Scoutmob deal was $35 and we had two extra cocktails at $8 each, however the wait staff charged us $15 in tip based on what we ordered, essentially a 30% tip on terrible service. Our past experiences with handpicked deals have been awesome. And receiving an itemized bill that details what you actually "bought" helps when thinking about what tip to give, but to be treated with such disrespect and disregard and then be forced to pay a tip that exaggerates the type of service we received is down right ridiculous. P'cheen. It was great knowing you, but you lost customers tonight based on your blatant disregard and poor attitude. When we go out to each "gastropub fare" we at least expect to have better service than the average drive-thru. If you must eat here, do yourself a favor and eat at the bar.

Moonshine! Was suspicious about the moonshine at first but quickly became a fan. Our server Trishla good naturedly walked us through the menu options. Turns out she's usually only here for lunch, so get here early if you want her excellent service. The food is good, especially the wings.
