Unfortunately there is no option to select zero stars, so I must settle for 1, to express my absolute disappointment, anger and dissatisfaction with this business. It began with two friends highly recommending the is garage, one of them being a former employee. The two independently offered unequivocal support and praise for this businesses honesty, trustworthiness and reasonable prices. Therefore, I wholeheartedly accepted their praise and urging and took my over heating vehicle to be fixed. Upon arrival I noticed there were 3 bays and only one occupied servicing a car, so I thought there wouldn't be any delay in repairing my vehicle. Yet even as I told the service rep that it was over heating and I suspected a bad thermostat or water pump he said I would have to leave it and he would get back to me later. So I left it in his care and a few hours later received a call from him delivering the most remarkable information I had heard in all my 35 years of driving and owning cars. He confirmed it was the water pump and that it would an astonishing $1597.60 to repair. I was shocked, stunned and disgusted, at this point you probably are thinking this car must be a high performance European job: Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti with such ridiculous repair price. No, my vehicle is a 6 year old very common widely popular SUV, nothing fancy or lavish. The service rep went on to explain how the parts were not expensive at all, but it was the labor that had elevated the price into the stratosphere. Moreover, it was time consuming, precise and detailed work requiring nearly removing the entire the motor, he also managed to tell me that Camp's would be moving and merging into Gordy's garage on October 1st, as they are both owned by the same person. Stunned and so vexed I couldn't see or think straight, because this one repair would cost more than every replacement water pump in the last 3 vehicles I owned over the past 20 years. Nevertheless, I need my vehicle immediately and didn't have time to have it towed to another shop, so I agreed to have them repair it because it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I called both friends to ask was this the honest and reasonable pricing they were referring to? The friend who was the former employee said she would inquire why such astronomical cost for a water pump, she ended up parroting the same b.s. giving to me, so I decided to make a few calls to other garages in the area inquiring what the estimate for a water pump replacement would cost for my vehicle, all 4 quoted prices significantly below Camp's, after sharing what my cost was one guy asked "are they rebuilding the engine?" And another just laughing and saying "well they are sure going to eat good off that job", to which I stated "blessed be their feast, because it's the LAST SUPPER they will ever eat off me. ***AVOID THIS BUSINESS AND GORDY'S**
