    Great showroom to see Viking product.

    Swung by here twice. Closed during the day when they are supposed to be open. Left multiple phone messages to have them call me. No returned call. About to give up and buy a different brand.

    My experience with buying a Viking oven has been terrible. I purchased a very nice oven for the first time. I have owned ovens for 29 years and my husband wanted to treat me to a very nice oven. When we received the oven I loved it and I still do. After several months the handle fell off. They came out to fix it and then several months later the glass on the oven door shattered in the middle of the night. I woke up to glass a shattered oven door. Reading about it they said if the handle is put on too tight it causes stress on the glass and it could in time shatter, Well it did. All this is fine honesty that was not my issue. My issue was how I was treated by Viking when I called to have it fixed. Since it was still under a year it was covered by Viking, The service department was very rude to me. I called in October and they said it would take a few weeks. Ok fine, I called a few weeks later to find out they had never ordered the part, again they were so rude to me. After talking to several different people they said it would be in by November 18th but they are so busy they can't install it by Thanksgiving. I was ok with that a little sad to have to change my plans but oh well. I waited and called on the 19th. They had ordered the wrong door and again very rude to me. They had me on hold for 50 minutes. After several days of calling they re ordered it, I asked if it could be installed before Christmas and they were rude and said you and everyone else. Who treats someone like that. I was in tears yes I know over an oven right. But I bake cookies for neighbors, and I bake for the homeless and I have not had an oven all through November and part of October. Well finally after calling again my door is in and they are going to install it tomorrow. I pray it is the right one. I am a little scared but we will see. I love my oven but the service that has come with that oven is the worse service I have ever had. If I would have known I would not have bought one. It is sad that I was treated so poorly and over Thanksgiving. I just wanted to warn you that even thought I love my oven I don't love Viking. To me service is as important as the product itself. It makes me very sad. I would think twice before buying one.
