Sears Appliance Repair

Making appointment was easy although there were no times available and it was a week before someone could come. Many appointment reminders and updates on when technician would arrive. Technician was friendly and professional. Only partially diagnosed the problem and have incorrect information. My husband was able to find the correct part and ended up fixing it for $30. Technician told us part was no longer made and while refrigerator would need replacing. Technician did provide insight to what was wrong but ultimately we fixed it ourselves. Technician was good to go , but the cost was crazy technician turned three nuts to adjust the blade carriage , and it cost me $284 Sears is Definitely a one time use. Not the way to get return customers ( smh )

Don't work with this company. They were supposed to replace a part on my refrigerator. They had the part shipped to my home but the box was very damaged on arrival and the part was damaged as well as a result. Interestingly instead of sending it directly from LG, they had it shipped to their warehouse and from there to my home. So no wonder it was damanged on arrival. From there on it was a nightmare to get Sears Home Services to reorder the part and pickup the damaged part. They even sent two technicians to my home to install the damaged part and before the replacement was delivered. Proving how incapable they are at scheduling and organizing. I had to call UPS in the end myself to get the damaged part picked up because Sears was incapable to do it from their end. The customer service is terrible. The people have not knowledge of anything, will not call back and can't coordinate internally across departments because they can only receive calls but not make calls apparently. To all those reading this I can only say, don't work with this company! Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair
