RADCO Residential

My apartment just flooded this past Thursday and again Monday from a drainpipe outside that was broken (property neglect, it had been down for weeks). I’ve only been here going on 8 weeks and haven’t unpacked everything. Everything in my living room and second bedroom was soaked in water almost to my ankles and I’m being told that my insurance (whom they recommended) will not cover damage from water that flows in from the outside. My property manager (very little empathy) has now told me they will not pay for any of my personal losses/file a claim or move me in another unit. I have to stay in the stinky apartment they runs risk of electrical fire (water was flowing from the socket) and lose everything I’ve worked hard for. THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! Currently living in a Radco owned apartments, worst maintenance ever!! They won't pick up the phone, I am very frustrated. I haven't had a working dryer for over a year now. I've been very patient but enough is enough, I need a response now!

I did not think it could go from bad to worse but it has. Radco took over Midwood Riverside in Austell, Ga in August 2020. The company they replaced was the management arm of the investors who bought the property. They did such a poor job that Radco was brought in to replace them. Since then an entire building has been flooded with wastewater due to them but fixing a plumbing issue 3 months ago, which they were well aware of. We are seeking a legal recourse because there is no excuse for this.

If you can avoid any Radco property! Run!! They acquired my property which was probably the nicest property they have, lowered the rent, and it went down considerably, not to mention charging extra fees upon move out! Runn!!! They have the worst management and the property that was a really nice property went down considerably.
