As the mother of four children, including one with autism, thank god I came across the reviews of others. Kicking a CHILD out of a dentists office, because they were crying? Have you never heard of dental trauma? How about trying kindness and patience, rather than making a child feel like they are a problem for expressing their fear and emotions. And the response from the owner in a previous review is absolutely disgusting. We cant have that. Then maybe you should take the world family out of your name. After seeing at least 30 comments of similar experiences on Facebook - even from adults - I hope people will think twice before booking an appointment here.

This office advertises that they treat patients 2 years of age and older. I made an appointment for my 3 year old to get a cleaning. She was crying (as most children do) and the office manger came back to the room and humiliated me and my daughter. She told the dental assistant to stop cleaning her teeth that they wouldnt be able to treat her because she had the entire office upset. She then wrote up a referral to a pediatric dentist and put on it that they couldnt treat her due to her behavior. She was rude and disrespectful. My family will find a new office that will treat us with respect. In response to you Im not sure how a tiny 3 year old upsets your entire office but it was the disrespect and how you handled the situation that was unprofessional!

My son had to have a molar pulled/ cut out. They explained everything from start to finish. He has healed well, and hasn't had any complications. (About 5 months ago) I would trust them to do any future procedures.

After having a wisdom tooth extraction procedure abruptly cancelled by another provider I randomly visited Athens Family Dental to see if they could perform my procedure ASAP because I'm booked on a cruise next month. Even though I came in without an appointment I was seen and evaluated in a matter of minutes and my procedure was scheduled for a short time later. I had the extraction performed early this week and I could not be more pleased with the care I received. Dr. Miller, Cas, and the entire team put me at ease because it was clear to see that they were all extremely skilled and knowledgeable. Even little comfort measures like a warm blanket were not missed. My aftercare instructions were clear and simple. I haven't required anything stronger than Tylenol for discomfort but I was given prescriptions for a narcotic and an anti-emetic which I appreciated. Honestly, it was a blessing that the other provider cancelled my procedure because I found a wonderful new dental practice.

I had a horrible experience yesterday I felt rushed through the whole process of having 3 wisdom teeth extracted and not treated as a person at all You would think paying out of pocket for everything That you would be put under properly I came out of sedation early and in a great deal of pain and I ended up biting the Dentists finger He gave me another shot to numb me and rushed me out to the curb Me and my family won't be back
