        Waffle House provided a much needed balance to the very fancy restaurants that have proliferated on every other corner of the Five-Points neighborhood. Simple food for local neighbors and college kids alike. I am so sad this iconic historic part of the Athens Five-Points neighborhood has had to close its doors. We will sorely miss you, Waffle House.
