We ate here for the first time and, for me, the preparations were all far too mild. The portions, for the price, were also disappointing ($7.50 for three orders of Nan seemed steep). We may try their lunch buffet, but probably won't return for dinner. I much prefer Guru II in Roswell and had eaten regularly at Angan (now closed, unfortunately). Since others clearly enjoy Santoor very much, give it a try and decide for yourself.

I had been to Santoor many times and enjoyed it each time. However, this last time was so bad, that I will NOT be returning. I had a group of 15 and we were the only people in there. The service was horrid and the prices were crappy. Then on top of it all...they added a 30% gratuity without telling us and we all tipped on top. When we realized what happened we went back and the manager wouldn't give us our money back. Furthermore, when we ordered one order of Naan, the manager came out with more and more...we were thinking he was being nice. Nope, he ended up charging us for things we didn't order...like the naan and the rice. I am so very disappointed. There is not reason a lunch should be $30.00 a person. NONE!

I have been eating lunch at this restaurant regularly for the past several years. The quality of the buffet is very consistent, including soup, pakoras (vegetable fritters), two kinds of rice, nan bread, dal, three vegetarian curries and two meat items. They always have rice pudding and sometimes other deserts on the buffet. The food has a nice spice to it, but not crazy hot or anything. Don't let the out-of-the-way location discourage you (it's about a half mile from the corner of Mansel and Northpoint Pkwy). If you're coming east on Mansel from 400, be sure to turn left into the Day's Inn and Waffle House driveway, then cut over to the plaza next door where Santoor is--will save you a u-turn. This is a family-run establishment and I always enjoy supporting them. Check it out.

I have been to most Indian restaurants in Atlanta, and Santoor is the worst among them. Food quality is horrible. I went there on a Sunday and it looked like they were offering left overs. The AC was NOT turned fully, so it added to the horrible experience. For that price, try McDonald's!
