El Potrillo Mexican Restaurant

I don't know if I was just unlucky or most of the other reviewers just have a really low standard because everything about my meal was terrible. The tea tasted odd/off so I got that replaced with a coke no ice. The chips were tough, cold, and stale. Jarred salsa. The "bean" dip was 90% cheese. The "refried beans" were pureed to oblivion, the consistency of soup. Everything was so bland I had to salt it (crazy) and on top of that, every single thing I ate was lukewarm at best. The cheese in my enchilada was solid. To add insult to injury it cost me $20.00 w/o tip for a Monday lunch "special". Just awful, every bit of it. Service was nice.

Been going here with family, friends and business associates for over 20 years. Never disappoints. Kid-friendliness: Our grandchildren love coming here.

The waiter brought the wrong order out, miscommunication, but immediately fixed it. The food was piping hot and delicious!
