Favorite Time Academy

WOW Favorite Time is amazing and the by far the best program in the area. We love the Walkers and their entire team of loving, nurturing, and gifted teachers. If there is an issue or concern it is immediately addressed and corrected where needed. We love the lower ratios and smaller groups sizes in the classrooms. Parents, do your homework before choosing a childcare center. You will be surprised what you find on the state website that monitors licensed childcare facilities. Visit the Bright From the Start Website and search for childcare centers in your area. You can see the licensing reports, fines, complaints and more.

It has been a few years but it’s about time others learned of my experience. Back in 2014-2015 my son was a student at this facility for their pre-k program, but it didn’t last long. My son tried his best but he did have behavioral issues(he was diagnosed in 2016 with ADHD and has been on medicine since then which has helped tremendously) which no one at this facility seemed to have any patience or time for. He never intentionally harmed another child or teacher, he had outbursts like any other child his age is capable of having. Mr.Paul called me one day and told me to come get him cause he refused to help during clean up time. I leave my job to come get him and Mr.Paul notifies me at that time that my son is allowed to come for one hour a day, for the remainder of the pre-k year. Pretty much he was forcing me to withdraw my child from his program, cause what could he possibly learn in one hour? Once I did remove him Mr.Paul told me that my son would never pass kindergarten with the track he was on. Well Mr.Paul, I would like to inform you after all these years he did pass kindergarten, and first, and second and is doing pretty darn good in third. It has weighed on me all these years that you and you’re so called educators could attempt to set my child up for failure, and it makes me so happy he proved you all wrong! He has had some pretty amazing teachers along the way, and currently goes to an amazing school (we relocated to Florida in 2016) . I don’t care what others have to say I just needed to put my experience out there as it has bugged me all these years!

We moved to Acworth in 2008, and I searched high and low for the perfect place to send my baby. I met with a dozen facilities, and we chose to go to FTA. I can't tell you what the last 10 years has meant to us having Favorite Time Academy in our corner. My son started out it the baby room, did Georgia Pre-K here, and as he grew, we continued with ASP here. I firmly believe they helped shape him into the incredible human being he is today. The owners are incredible, faith driven people that I have grown to consider family. Top notch teachers, equipment, and learning. There isn't a button for a Million Stars... which is what my actual review would be.

We love Favorite Time! Our daughter started there when she was 6 weeks old. She stayed there through Pre-K and attended summer camp every year through 5th grade. She really enjoyed the summer camps and is going to miss it and the teachers. Paul and Elizabeth are great! They always made sure that any concerns we had were addressed. I would highly recommend Favorite Time!!

Previously at a National Chain, what a mistake! Favorite Time and their dedicated staff offer a warm, protective, and encouraging learning environment that has allowed both our children to expand their knowledge, develop friendships that will last a life-time, all with a smile on their hearts. As a Father, I am particularly concerned with the teaching and development of respect and manners with my children. Favorite Time promotes, encourages, and supports these efforts - every class - every day! Combining the great and positive atmosphere with their Educational Qualifications/Accreditation's - it was a no brainier that our Daughter would attend Pre-K at Favorite Time. Day Care, Pre-K, Summer Camps, and After School Programs - Favorite Time has exceeded our expectations and we are grateful.
