I like the doctor but if you call office needed help dont leave a message where they say they will get back to you in 24 hours i am on day 15 still no call back i was out of town and needed to continue a prescription if it wasnt for the great girls in scheduling i would have been un allot more discomfort.

The Doctor are great the office staff needs some work. I left a message and never got my issue resolved. Im having to pay a co pay for an appointment just to get my issue fixed. This has been a 6 months process. Im thankful to God it want Life threatening. The respect for peoples time is absent. I had a 9am appointment checked in 845 in the office at 855am and left waiting until 10:30 plus .

ER was fast, polite, and seemed to care. Had Kidney stone blockage. Scheduled and prepped for surgery, only to be pushed back till next morning. I was upset that Dr Patrick Guthrie wrote in his notes that I was not in the kind of pain I was leading the hospital to believe. What a quack. Since when can a doctor feel your pain. I had Two 9mm Stones on right side. How do you fake that, and for what reason. You think I wanted surgery? He is a surgeon that is a stickler for catheter, even though I've had 2 lithotripsy surgeries in the past without one, and everything was fine. I was bleeding more from catheter than anything. After demanding it's removed for 8 hours and threats I would do it myself it finally came out. The Nurses were great and relieved my pain on time. The hospital rep was amazing. The food was actually good. I will not let Dr. Guthrie do my next surgery because evidently he does not believe you when you rate your pain levels. Hope when Dr Guthrie has a stone in the future that he's doesn't get someone like himself saying that he's misleading about his pain. I have had chronic pain since 21 years old. I am 61. I can tolerate pain more than normal people which is why his comment upset me. He is a surgeon, not pain specialist. And comes across as being arrogant.

I had an existing appointment with a PA regarding BPH and urinary obstruction referred by AdventHealth ER. I Called to schedule an appointment to schedule the Rezum Procedure with a urologist surgeon, made an earlier appointment. I showed up early, pre checked in online. Sat in the waiting room for 30min past my appointment time. My chart is populated with ER Bloodwork, CT Scans (with and without contrast) of my abdomin. Reports by ER doctors and radiologists, and Hx. They put me in a room, after taking my temp, BP, weight, height, then left me there for 50 min. In came the PA, why are you here? Obstructive urethra due to BPH, I need to schedule Rezum Procedure. Answer; No one here can do that. We cannot authorize the procedure. Is there someone in the building who can? She said, Let me go ask the surgeon. Returned, Schedule an appointment for August, Me,for the procedure?Her, No, to talk to a doctor. 3 hours of wasted time, then attitude from the Checkout Lady, who was ready to reschedule me in August now that I was an AdventHealth Patient. Scam, waste of time, at best, Insurance Fraud at worst.
