Okay, y'all, Blackfin was freaking amazing!! The food was great and the service was awesome (the restaurant was a little slow because of the rain and it being Sunday, but the server was so personable, and he came over just to talk several times.) I was a little nervous at first because it's a bit pricey and a seafood restaurant (I'm not really a fan of seafood), but it was new and I wanted to give it a chance. I'm glad I did. The menu was great and they even offer a gluten-free menu!! My filet was awesome (although my husband wasn't as thrilled with his NY strip, but it's a seafood restaurant, not a steakhouse--LOL), the potatoes were superb. However, the best part was the desert. They have a chocolate fountain and they give you fresh strawberries, marshmallows, and rice crispy treats on a skewer, cover it all in the chocolate and hand it to you on a plate. (Seriously, guys, it was a freaking foodgasm.) The server also said they have a bunch of stuff that happens on Wednesdays (free oysters and a jazz band) and on Thursdays, Fridays, and I think Saturdays they have a live band and an open dance floor. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
