My wife and I where planning on getting new family portraits for awhile. We didn't want the still, boring poses typical of most family shoots. We were lucky enough to stumble on the Venture Photography booth at the Orlando Home show at the Orange County Convention Center. The sample photos which were on display where very professionally done and were unlike any other typical portraits. The photos are a modern composition and high quality with a crisp and vibrant color tones. Their unique take on photo directions are awesome and fun. My family and I felt so comfortable during the hour or so that came with the photo session that it felt like time just flew by so fast.
Two weeks later we were able to view all our photos in a private sit down session on a large monitor. The photos were amazing, unlike any photo portraits we have ever taken. The Owner was so accommodating with our concerns and wishes. We would definitely recommend this to any family looking to update their family photos and to own some timeless memories.

We had our family pictures taken in November. We placed our order and paid for the custom mounted prints on December 5th. We are still getting the runaround on April 29th. I understand why they are closing this location. They won't return calls to rectify the matter. You only get the "they'll be in this week" when you call. Do not waste your time or money. Our next call will be from our attorney. We're still waiting for a call from the owner.

My husband and I are not "picture people", so when we were at an easter egg hunt in Longwood and came to the Venture Photography sponsor booth, we were hesitant to book a photography session. However, our son's first birthday was coming up, so we decided if we were ever going to do professional photos with him, now is the time. We had our photo session with Venture on 5/24/14 and even though we aren't picture people, our session was fantastic! Our photographer was Dani, and she was fantastic. I've had professional photos a few times before and nothing is more frustrating than when the photographer doesn't direct you, but Dani was the exact opposite - she told us exactly what to do to make great pictures. We viewed the pictures two days ago and they turned out absolutely wonderful. In sum, everything was great, but here are the specifics:
PROS:
1) Our whole family could come to the photo shoot (so we got pictures of baby alone, baby with mom and dad, mom and dad alone, baby with grandparents, all of us, etc.)
2) Everything was done in a timely manner (i.e., I had to re-book our session because of a scheduling conflict, which wasn't a problem, and once we had our session, our photos were ready to view 5 days after, and about 100 images were retouched)
3) Our photographer had great ideas for the photos, even though we didn't bring any props (they encourage you to bring props to give your photos a personalized style, but I didn't have any props that were "special" enough to want to hang on my walls one day, so we didn't bring any)
4) The studio was very nice, clean, professional, and family-friendly
5) The pictures really were beautiful - we got a few photos that look like your average professional photos (i.e., "portraits" where we are all looking at the camera and smiling) and a few that are much more natural (e.g., where we are all laughing, the baby is running around, etc. - and these ended up being my favorite)
CONS
1) The cost - the framed photos are incredibly expensive (for example, $400 for an 8x10 at a discounted price). Professional photos are expensive, so I expected this, but it was still serious sticker-shock.
2) Our studio had a small dressing room - we had 3 outfit changes and it was difficult to get 5 people changed in a room that only fit 1 person
3) Our photo session was scheduled to last 1 hour and 15 minutes and once we reached 1 hour, our photographer said she had all the photos she needed. This was true (i.e., we had many beautiful pictures from what she got), but I wished it would've lasted the full 1 and 15
