My wife, Shelly, and I first started using Nelson Financial Planning in the early 2000s and were just beginning our retirement planning. From the very first meeting Joel was intelligent and personable enough to calm our fears and guide us in planning our path to retirement. Several times since, we have relied upon Joel and his personnel to keep us focused and trust the plan. The changes and tweaks have allowed us to maximize our growth even when the financial environment was challenging. I would recommend Joel Garris and his team to anyone. We would never seek financial advice anywhere else. Their integrity and personal commitment to their clients is beyond reproach. We also recommend the weekly radio show as a means of staying on top of financial news and developments.

I have been using Nelson Financial Investments for over 20 years. When I changed jobs he (Joel) helped me with moving my 401K.When I had questions about buying an investment property, he laid it all out for me. As the economy changes and I grow older I know that I am in the best of hands with this local gem of an investment firm. Don't let the small firm feel let you think that these guys don't have it together, they do! They are on top of their game and continue to make smart and secure investments on my behalf. I have recommended at least 5 people to the firm and some are even family!

Everyone in the office is dedicated to top notch service of the client. They treat you like family. In fact, Joel Garris provides highly reliable investment advice and basically uses the same investment choices for his family. Our holding have done incredibly well over the years to where we are in a very good position at retirement.
