Definitely not gonna fool any non-vegans(especially carnivores) at this place, as the food looks and tastes unquestionably vegan. I'm not an expert, but this was probably the healthiest restaurant my wife and I visited while we were in town from NYC. We certainly enjoyed our meals. I got the ravioli and my wife got the kale salad entrée. We shared the dumplings as an appetizer. And got the chocolate for dessert. Oh and I also got a tasty beet, orange & carrot juice. All very tasty. Wasn't very busy when we were there, but I could assume that if it were busy that it might take more time than usual for service by the way they have it set up. Aside: overheard the only other couple there shirk that the menu had changed "again"... All that said, I believe if people go here knowing what they're in for(vegan, healthy, NY pricy, changing menu, and slower-than-normal service due to small staff) then I'm sure you'll have a wonderful experience!

The menu online is not the menu they serve. :( It seems like they changed a lot, downsized their already tiny menu. There were not any specials either. Kind of expensive...

To be honest with you, I ate at Cafe118 when it was brand new and had the lasagna which was good at that time. Remembering that, I had the occasion to treat my daughter who was in town this weekend and had a less than desirable experience. I had the spring rolls, and she had the PadThai, very overpriced and not very tasty. In fact, it was basically cold slaw. I told the waitress who seemed highly uninterested that I did not enjoy the meal to which she replied "that's ok". Hmmm...not a remark I wanted to hear as a dissatisfied customer. I told her that I am usually a very good tipper (I usually tip at least 25-30%, but I did not feel justified leaving a tip. I just think that $35+ is too much to pay for cold slaw that was not even good cold slaw at that! I think they should go to Vitality Bistro in Mount Dora and take a few lessons. I have never been disappointed there.
