    We have been going to TooJays for over20 yrs to different locations and never had a bad experience till now at the Vero Beach location on 5/28/2023 . My husband and I were on our way to another restaurant when we saw TooJays, so we decided to forgo the our first choice and go to TooJays. My husband ordered his Triple J which comes with coleslaw and a pickle and the menu said, add fries for 1.49 so he did. I ordered the new brisket with Demi sauce, mushrooms and potato cakes. My husbands was good as usual and mine (I have always gotten brisket) was absolutely the worst I ever got at TooJays. It was drowned in a peppery Demi glaze sauce, fatty and no hint of mushroom. Potato cakes were soggy and loaded with grease. The waiter asked how everything was and I replied not what Im used to and not the best from TooJays. His reply oh sorry and walked away. So now the bill comes and instead of being charged 1.49 for fries we are charged 4.29. When we question him he says its the way the menu is printed what it means is if you didnt want the cole slaw you can get fries for 1.49. We explained thats not what the menu states and his reply is yes. but thats what it means you have to substitute. We then ask for the manager who also states the menu is printed with the wrong wording but it means that you can substitute the coleslaw for fries for 1.49. So now the manager thinks we cant read and as we try to state our point to the fact thats not what your menu says, he stuck by his and our servers explanation. The manager decided he did not want to talk about it anymore took our plate and left. So, the manager or key holder decided that he would let a 20 plus year customer leave and not take care of the customer. So needless to say we will NOT be dining at TooJays in the futureEVER. let me be clear it has nothing to do with the 2.80 dollars we were overcharge, its the point that the menu says something totally different and management gives a lame excuse. If you do that to 10 customers per seating which is 30 customers you just stole approximately 84 dollars from customers who either didnt check the bill or swallowed the lame excuse given by management.

THEY HAVE A CORPORATE PHONE NUMBER THAT NO ONE EVER ANSWERS WHEN CALLS ARE PLACED TO THEM AND THEY DO NOT REPLY TO MESSAGES LEFT ON VOICEMAIL. ONE CAN NEVER REACH A LIVE PERSON AT THEIR CORPORATE NUMBER AND IF LETTERS ARE EMAILED ON THEIR CONTACT US/FEEDBACK FORM THEIR IS NO RETURN RESPONSE EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE YOU PRESS A BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTACT PAGE ASKING IF YOU WANT A REPLY. EMAILS SENT TO [email protected] THAT IS THEIR DESIGNATED RESPONSE EMAIL ADDRESS ARE NEVER RESPONDED TO AND WHEN YOU TRY TO USE THEIR PHONE DIRECTORY FOR CURRENT EMPLOYEES THE RECORDING TELLS YOU THAT THE PEOPLE LISTED ON THEIR CORPORATE WEB PAGE DO NOT EXIST IN THEIR EMPLOYEE DIRECTORY. THEY ARE NON-RESPONSIVE TO LONG TIME CUSTOMERS AND THEIR ATTITUDE IS EXTREMELY POOR. WHEN AN ORDER IS PLACED ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE AT THEIR RESTAURANT LOCATED AT THE WALK IN CORAL SPRINGS, FL, THE ORDERS ARE FREQUENTLY BOTCHED UP WITH LITTLE ATTENTION PAID TO CUSTOMER'S SPECIFIC REQUESTS. I HAVE ORDERED DELI SANDWICHES REQUESTING MUSTARD TO BE PLACED ON THE BREAD ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS YET I RECEIVE THE SANDWICH WITHOUT THE REQUESTED MUSTARD OR EVEN ANY CONDIMENTS ACCOMPANYING THE ORDER. NAPKINS AND UTENSILS ARE LEFT OUT MOST OF THE TIME AND LITTLE ATTENTION IS PAID TO HOW THE ORDERED MEAL IS DELIVERED TOTHE CUSTOMER WHETHER IT IS AN ENTREE OR A DESSERT. I HAVE EMAILED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE LAST MONTH AND NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE AND NO ONE APPEARS TO CARE. THEIR COO TROY GOLDMAN AS WELL AS THEIR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS BRETT CARPER SHOWN ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH AND THEIR FAILURE TO FOLLOW UP ON CUSTOMER FEEDBACK IS APPALLING. IF NOT FOR ONE OF THE MANAGERS AT THE WALK IN CORAL SPRINGS, FL; A GENTLEMAN BY THE NAME OF BRADEN WHO IS PROBABLY THE MOST RESPONSIVE AND BEST PURVEYOR OF GR8 CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THEIR ORGANIZATION I WOULD HAVE SWIFTLY GONE TO THEIR COMPETITORS FOR FOOD THAT IS BETTER PREPARED AND WHERE CUSTOMERS ARE VALUED MORE.
