Although I saw this restaurant open in an outdoor mall , you’d expect mediocre and inexpensive food . When I went to a dinner there , I was surprised at the breadth of the menu . The food was excellent and I was surrounded by a huge Italian family who also loved it. I found the dishes a little expensive for a very plain , unpretentious restaurant , but well worth it. The service was absolutely amazing for such a huge party and everything was served in huge proportions . The hot bread never stopped . Very good meal. Would return for a casual dinner with great food!

Above and beyond service with delicious food. I recently ordered from Cafe Toscano to feed my family after a life event. The owner went out of her way to ensure that the meal was delicious, plentiful and delivered promptly. I will certainly be dining at Cafe Toscano my next visit to WPB.

Went as a group for a private event. The atmosphere was ok if it was being used as a non-food venue. The problems were ALL staff and food related. Where to start.
Staff:
The staff was mediocre at best, and blatantly rude at times. Reading through other posts, we aren't the only ones who have been yelled at by the manager (and she's yelling at the hosts of the party in front of everyone. Not raising her voice, just embarrassing them). Some of the other staff were trying, but seemed like they hadn't worked there before. There were at least two different kids who worked there who looked to be about 13 or 14 at most and definitely looked like they were violating labor laws with how long they worked. (Could have been family members). The owner and the waitstaff continually were bumping into people and were actually rudely pushing their way through people as they're toasting the guests of honor. I could go on, but you get the idea.
Food:
I can't tell you how my entree tasted, because everything came out wrong. I asked for a simple modification, Marsala on the side for my chicken. After being told NOTHING the entire time, they brought my chicken with Marsala on it and only then when we told them it was wrong did they say "sorry, the chef said he couldn't do it". My Caesar salad was extremely over dressed. All of the food for this private event (about 70-80 people) came out sporadically and in protein order, not table order and took almost an hour for it all to hit the table from first dish to last. Most people were being polite waiting for others at their table to get their food to and so 90% of the food wasn't really touched because it got cold waiting on the rest of the food.
They seemed completely inadequately prepared for an event like this. Working in the industry, I'm usually pretty lenient when there's problems, but getting my wife's food 35 minutes after mine, scooping lettuce out of the ½ inch of dressing at the bottom of my tiny bowl, watching the waitstaff be rude to the guests and watching the manager openly embarrass the hosts of the party was to much for me. If I could give it negative stars I would.
Until there is new management, I will not return.
