Mazaltov Home Care

I will never, ever use this service again. The company was supposed to provide a phone number for a caregiver so I could interview them before a long term assignment for my mother who has Alzheimers. They did not do so. I also asked that they send a caregiver who had been with their company for an extended period as I wanted someone with a strong track record. They told me the person had been on a long term contract with them and was doing well. That was a lie. I told them I needed a caregiver who had a car for errands. They sent someone without transportation. The caregiver had no experience with Alzheimer's patients. She was incompetent, rude, and unable to communicate clearly. I notified Mazaltov that I did not want the caregiver to return. I also told the caregiver that we would not need her services the next day. She showed up ringing our door bell and knocking loudly at 8am the next day. My family is stuck with a bill for bad service and I'm just appalled at the lack of customer service provided from Mazaltov.

I have been working with Olga at Mazaltov for the last couple of months, helping my parents who live in Boynton Beach. I am in Austin Texas, so it has been a little bit tough on me being so far away. Olga has been incredible, providing such care and concern to help provide my parents with the best home care possible. Anybody looking for help in the home with their elderly parents or family members should feel extremely comfortable using Olga and her company. The BEST!!

Olga the Director gave my mom, the best care. We have the best memories of her good experience she is with the Lord now her caretakers were very comforting to mom. They bathed her and cared for her so wonderful. They helped us with any issues we incurred we never felt led down by this beautiful company I highly recommend them to care for your loved one.

The only reason I am giving this nurse registry ( not a home healthcare agency) two stars is because during my mom's illness with Covid they were able to send out some excellent caregivers. Marie B. and others did a great job caring for my mom. But when I needed Care on a regular basis during the weekend unfortunately their caregivers fell short., One  stayed on the phone among other things Another one walked in and when I asked her to put on shoe covers she refused and left. The last  one ( before I terminated assignment) on Sunday let my mom stay in a wet, dirty diaper from the time I left at 11:30am to 3:30pm. When I called to complain no one from Mazaltov called to apologize or ask about my mother ( same caregiver let her fall and did not call ambulance or cover her with a blanket).My advice is to be very clear on what needs to be done, if possible supervise or show up unexpectedly. Sadly, this is a nurse registry so aides may not be vaccinated ( unless you request)and are basically their own boss ( May leave assignment no consequences).
