        We go out of our way to stop at this fabulous restaurant when we fly in to Fort Lauderdale and drive north to visit family. Great vibe. Great food. Great service. We sit at the bar and meet some of the nicest servers, including Audrey, who took great care of us on our last visit. We'll see you next time!

        I normally don't write negative reviews but this time, I feel I need to. I arrived with my family around 5pm. The restaurant looked promising and we were excited to try. We were seated and we waited almost 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. No follow up, no greeting, no water. Nobody noticed or even apologized. We left to the restaurant next door. A shame. We never got to try the food.

        We sat at the bar because I was going to place a to go order and have a drink while we waited. The gentleman at the bar gave us the impression we were bothering him. because of his behavior we just paid for the drinks and left. Over $40 for 2 drinks is a bit excessive.

      Opened in 2000, City Cellar is one of the city's landmark eateries. Step inside the large dining room featuring a floor to ceiling glass enclosed wine cellar. City Cellar possesses a huge award winning wine collection that can be sampled by the bottle, glass or flight. The varied menu has delicious hearth baked pizza, dry aged steaks, fresh pasta and seafood. A small plates menu is offered featuring a daily flatbread, lobster mac n cheese and other daily specials. A rotating menu of hard to find artisanal cheeses is available as well. Desserts are all enticing, all house made and all very tasty.
