I was a VIP member, pay Red Cap $15 a month, since the AC system was replaced 3 years ago, wanted to make sure it received regular maintenance. Called and they scheduled, they never showed up. I called and I was told they should have called to reschedule. So I made another appt, Tech shows up within 5 minutes he states have a leak, I said it's under warranty, showed him paperwork. Told me $304.95 to find leak, I said ok and signed his Iphone screen, never gave him my credit card info. He said he would be back in 4 days to check again, in the meantime I received a bill via email for $804.95, they charged my Visa on file, I called Red Cap, they told me I had to talk to Ashley, and she would call me back, she never did. I called again the following Monday, told her must be an error, no that is what the tech ran the charge for. She refunded me $400, and she said she would have the Supervisor come on on Tuesday afternoon to see what is going on. On Tuesday the same previous tech calls me said he is on his way. I called Red Cap and asked for Ashley, they can't find her, I said well call this Tech tell him I do not want him in my house again, and tell them for Ashley to call me back. Here it is 3 days later still no call back. Sounds like the Tech just copied and pasted my signature on the invoice. I just called and cancelled my VIP membership, this company is a mess, unorganized, no follow-up, poor customer service skills. Maybe they are on commission and are told to do this? So now I need to contact another company for service.
