Loved Waldo's, great food and drinks, another must while in Vero!

We stopped for lunch during busy season in April. they were extremely busy. It took about an hour and a 1/2 to get food drinks and get the heck out of there. However, it was worth the wait. The band was amazing and very enjoyable to listen to while eating your lunch. I have extreme seafood and shellfish allergies so my entrees were limited, but the waitress was extremely helpful and careful while taking my order. We sincerely appreciated that level of concern. We would definitely go back for drinks. We loved the outdoor bar area and live bands! Super cool! Kid-friendliness: It is right on the beach and has a super fun vibe.I would suggest not bringing kids here.It is primarily for adults that are enjoying drinks and sitting around the pool and listening to live bands right next to the pool area.

Great location with amazing views. Service was better than the food. Probably a great place to drink and enjoy the ocean.

My recent visit to Waldo's was nothing short of a nightmare, with an experience that epitomized the epitome of poor hospitality and abysmal management. From the moment my party arrived, we were greeted by a void of acknowledgment as if we were invisible patrons disrupting an otherwise serene establishment. Upon entering, no one bothered to extend so much as a nod in our direction. After an uncomfortably long wait, we approached what appeared to be the hostthough their disinterested demeanor suggested otherwise. Without an ounce of apology for the neglect, we were informed that we could expect a staggering hour-long wait for a table. As if this weren't exasperating enough, the host had the audacity to inform us that we would be the last individuals seated for the evening, as if our presence was a nuisance to their operation. Deciding that our time and dignity were better spent elsewhere, we ventured outside to weigh our options. To our bemusement, a stranger approached us with suggestions for alternative dining venues. It was only after the fact that this man revealed himself to be the manager of Waldo's. His cavalier attitude was as perplexing as it was infuriating, as he callously informed us that not only would we not be seated at all, but also had the gall to ask if we were interested in lending a hand in the kitchen. This encounter left me dumbfounded. How does a restaurant, purportedly in the business of hospitality, manage to exhibit such blatant disregard for its patrons? The incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by both the staff and management at Waldo's are unparalleled in my dining experiences. In conclusion, I urge potential diners to steer clear of Waldo's unless they have a penchant for disappointment and disrespect. As for me and my companions, we took our appetitesand our businesselsewhere, where our patronage was valued and our presence acknowledged. We enjoyed a lovely meal and service at the Riverside Cafe!
