By far the worst place I have ever worked. I could go into it for pages on here, but I'll just say what every employee who ever worked for Shapes Fitness For Women wants prospective customers to know: Don't do it. Don't walk in, don't give them your time, and don't give them your money. If any of the other locations are different, I wouldn't know, because my experience at one was enough.

Initially thought this place was awesome due to exclusivity but quickly learned they are banking off of these “exclusivities” (not really besides the facts it’s an all female gym, nothing else special about this place) First the owner, Mary, seems very personable and kind until you realize she is just trying to get your money. Mary will lie and make it seem like she’s cutting you a deal but she is really milking you for as much as she possibly can. She is desperate for customers and will lie when she can get away with it. Do not give your money to these people. If you choose to, make sure to get as much of a discount as possible!! Mary will do it, she’s desperate for clients!

I quit going to this Shapes in Temple Terrace about 3 years ago because I paid for a lifetime membership that Mary (the manager) would not honor anymore. She is the person that I purchased the lifetime membership from and she is still the manager of this branch. I got a call from ABC Financial this morning which is the financial institution that Shapes in Temple Terrace uses to finance memberships. The message was the card on file to charge my account is no longer active. I am glad my credit card number changed otherwise I would be fighting over the charge. I wouldn’t even give this facility a 1 star but you have to give it something.

Very happy to be able to get back to the gym! I missed the infrared sauna and hydro massage!!!!
