EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Seen all the good reviews and figured would be a place would like to patronize. I did have a coupon through Double Take Deals where you pay $10.00 for $20.00 certificate however upon patronizing the establishment you had to spend $37.50 which I wasn't happy about however this place had such good reviews we decided to suck it up and give it a try. BIG MISTAKE, I would not recommend to my worse enemy. Our food option was Shrimp Scampi, Greek Burger or appetizers. They indicated they were revamping their menu and any of the other food menu items were not available because they just didn't have the food. Sad part is they waited to tell you until after you ordered drinks & appetizers. It was like watching a comedy scene with the customers that came in after us, they would order drinks/apps and then doing the old bait & switch of going to kitchen after patron orders and coming back stating they ran out of that item, but the Chef highly recommends the Shrimp Scampi which was their main & only entree dish of the evening. SERIOUSLY... It is a shame they cared so little of their customers and to be so greedy to have to screw people. I say screw me once and shame on you screw me twice shame on me. Well to say the least I don't like being screwed greek style so I will opt to only being screwed the one time. It now makes me wonder if the good reviews were from friends and family. Anyway, take it for what it is worth. I won't be going back anytime soon. Oh by the way, the shrimp tasted old and the pasta was tasteless.

I am a Local - I have lived in the Tampa Bay Area since 1989 and this side of the bay since 2005. While I do not live in Tarpon Springs, it is minutes from my house. A fun hospitable place. I have eaten at Paul's, Dimitri's, Mama's (?), Mykonnos, Louis Pappas when it was still around, Plakas, Lime and the Coconut, Rusty Bellies, and Hellas. I have shopped the shops and brought home baked goods from about every bakery. And about once a year or more gone to the Market - Halki, I think it is called - to buy feta, olives, tea, and such. Today, I was NEVER so Humiliated and appalled at the Rudeness as the people from Zorbas displayed toward me. I had heard from someone that there was a place to get domestic feta. So in conversation, I said: hey, I know a place in Tarpon Springs. Let me try there. When driving in, I saw a sign for 15 minute parking for the market in Question. Good - just enough time to get the feta and leave. It had a fence around it and two people behind the fence of Zorbas, the owners I believe, were at first looking at me after I parked there and I shouted out I was going to the market. As I grabbed some things in my car and put a wrap around skirt on, They started shouting at me. "This is private parking and you cannot be here!" I explained again I am going to the market. "This is private parking, you can't park here" I said to them, the sign in front of the lot said I could park here for 15 minutes for the market. "Well you are STUPID, that market closed and is up the street. You need to leave. This is private property" When I explained to them that I did not know the market had closed, (it had been there for 90 years! So how was I supposed to know it closed) I was going to leave. but don't call me stupid, the man said I was hearing things and that I must be crazy. I left. I drove around the block, found a spot. I came back and what did I find? A new market was only about 4 doors - not even blocks - doors - up from where the old market closed. I was satisfied in getting what I came for at the new market. As for Zorbas- Their rudeness seals that I will spread the word of this on every bit of Social media. Unbelievable.
