I cannot express how amazing working with Veronica at the South Tampa HLC has been. My daughter has been receiving tutoring services with them since last year, and they worked diligently to help find her tutors that supported her IB program. She excelled in the subject matters that she received assistance in. In addition, this year, we are starting the ACT/SAT prep courses and Veronica went above and beyond to explain the program and to customize it to our specific needs. The entire staff has always been pleasant and quick to respond. They truly do have the best interest of the student in mind. I highly recommend HLC!

I wish I could have selected 0/5 stars. Working with Veronica, the franchise director, was a nightmare. She messed up our meetings from Day 1. She informed us that due to her misgivings, we could meet w Sarah, her assistant, from then on. Unfortunately, she still insisted upon dealing w us. Any time we had to engage w Veronica, it was a disaster. She is the most disorganized and unprofessional individual that I have ever dealt with. Sadly, she represents some very good people. The tutors were a pleasure to work with and my son enjoyed learning from them very much. If you can avoid Veronica, youll have a great experience.

My experience with HLC South Tampa is as a former employee with insider knowledge of the organization. The owners of this HLC franchise care deeply about the education of their students and the wellbeing of their staff. They seek quality teachers and tutors and invest in their team. My (former) co-workers are, in my experience, each professional, educated, and hardworking individuals who share good rapport with their students. The work environment is positive and encouraging, and the students were all respectful, energetic, and and fun to be around. This job is well-suited to part-time employees with available evening and weekend hours.
