I am extremely dissatisfied with my Zillow offers sale of my home. At first the process seemed like it was flowing easily and my Zillow Advisor was nice. However when i was dumped off to the most incompetent corporation, Stewart Title, this is where the nightmare began. Zillow handed me off to their overflow title area being Stewart title without my consent. I immediately read the terrible reviews of Stewart and was disheartened right away. My experience with Stewart was nothing short of a anxiety filled disaster. They DO NOT communicate. I tried many attempts, phone calls, emails, voicemails to reach this title company and the women that was suppose to close my deal, Sharon. I tried to reach her all the way from 2 weeks prior to my close date. She never got back to me. This was a critical close for me as I was using these proceeds to purchase a new home the day following the sale. It was not until 2 days prior to my close date did Sharon reach out to me just to tell me what I am missing. It was absolutely stunning to hear this after I tried to avoid any roadblock. I spent the next two days desperately and frantically trying to get whatever was needed to close. I made and wrote upwards of 20 calls/emails just to ensure that Stewart was actually working on my file. I DEEPLY believe that if it not been for my unwavering persistence, I would NOT have closed. This experience was painstakingly full of tears, anxiety, and hopelessness. I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend going through this process but most importantly would NEVER recommend Stewart Title Guaranty Services in ANY capacity if you value your sanity.

Avoid this company AT ALL COST. They made a blunder on my deed. Now I am not sure if I legally own the property. Even though I paid Title Insurace, Stewart Title refuses to fix their mistake. They are very difficult to sue because so many attorney's use their services. I will have to sue them myself and contact Attorney General.

If you sell your home to Zillow, and I highly recommend NOT doing that, do not accept having Stewart Title as your closing agent. Biancia and Laci are not responsive, full of lies when they do answer the phone, and dont follow through. They have left us hanging twice after promising it would happen at a certain time. We heard just give us 30 more minutes I dont know how many times! My husband had to call their main office just to get a call back from our closing specialist.steer far away from these people as we still havent closed and we even went so far as to obtain our own payoff statement because they couldnt even get that for us! Our Zillow superintendent told us this is the overflow company they useworst experience ever with these peoplelies, false promises and incompetent accurately describes these two weve worked with..
