Everything was very professionally done. I had to have them come back the next day after installation and Jeff accommodate it. The installers are very knowledgeable in there jobs. I would highly recommend them. Also for all the people that like to complain about the little stuff. If you treat people with respect you will get respect. Know your project and ask questions before hiring any contractor. Also get everything in writing the first time and there shouldn’t be any problems. Thanks Full Metal Shovel.

Purchased our pool from recreational pools and spas and they set up the installation with Full Metal Shovel. The owner called me, the next day and set up our appointment for install, was professional and explained the process and cost. I received a phone call the week of to reconfirm the appt time and date! Great communication, the crew arrived on time and went straight to work. My yard due to being in a slope had to have 11 inches dug up to make even and I was explained everything before they even began! They did an amazing job and answered all of my questions! To those leaving bad reviews, read your paperwork, it explains what’s included and what isn’t included. Did I have a lot of dirt left, of course but I already knew what I was going to do with it!!! My pool looks amazing and I would recommend this company to anyone who is needing their pool installed! Their attention to detail was worth every penny!! Thank you Full Metal Shovel!! Your crew was amazing!

Wonderful installation from start to finish! I’ve read a couple reviews on here and am shocked by the entitlement of some people- this company told me 1st thing on the phone that they use a tractor and they do not haul out the dirt, so I knew there would be a tractor coming and took down a fence panel for them to get in myself. The store we purchased the pool from also gave us an installation agreement and if one reads it these and other concerns I read on here would have been non-issues. Got a 24’ pool and the dirt wasn’t too bad- I spread the leftover dirt out in my yard and it didn’t take long at all. The installation was $800, I know they do not manicure my entire back yard like a $60,000 inground pool installation. The owner was friendly, the crew worked diligently, and the office people were great. My pool is absolutely perfect and we’ll enjoy it for years to come!

A great job was done. Friendly guys. Hose got a leak in them from the manufacturer and came right back out an replaced them.

BUYER BEWARE: These guys are absolutely horrible. I’ve been a homeowner for over 10 years and I have never seen such a sloppy job. If I knew then, I would have just skipped getting a pool. I can’t believe Recreation Pool and Spas recommends these guys as their installers of choice. First off, they only do sod removals or dig ins with this ridiculous tractor that requires 5 or 6 ft of access and I didn’t even ask them to dig...if you have a fence, they charge extra just to get that thing in. They do no backfill, they disconnect whatever is in their way and don’t reconnect them (I begged the guy to just reconnect my sprinklers that he disconnected and he just wouldn’t do it!), and they leave huge piles of sod (large irregular carpet size chunks of sod that you have to pry and cut to carry off) and they don’t even throw away the boxes (I spent an hour checking each box to figure out if there were parts they didn’t install and there were plenty)...I had guys come in after to estimate clean up and their estimates are higher than the job! I had to take a few days off from work and have been at this for about 4 days now and only about half way done cleaning up. Services: Pump repairs & installation, Roadworks
