RUN away from this place. There are some excellent DSPs but most of them are lazy, rude and disrespectful. I heard stories of staff bringing guns to work to threaten others, I witnessed 7-10 call-offs a day from DSPs leaving the house shorthanded (so residents received subpar care), I witnessed staff threatening other staff in front of residents, I bathed two residents as RS because the DSPs refused to do their job, I witnessed nurses being berated by DSPs and residents were ignored by DSPs... it was bad. I truly believe there are some wonderful workers but the atmosphere is toxic and the residents suffer. The DSPs run the place... management tries to implement policies but DSPs know they have the power. They call off and show up late.

(Translated by Google) I was hired as DSP. Take a long training with Nora (Human Resources) and with the new co-workers. In that course, I learned that I am pregnant, I had a bleeding and my doctor sent me to rest for two days. I send the evidence to Jari Rivera (Human Resources) to which he tells me to return when there were no complications. Days later, the doctor removed the restrictions and again I try to communicate with Jari Rivera via email and calls to notify him what the doctor told me. All this without any response from her. Weeks later I manage to talk to her (I sent her many emails and I called her several times) and she tells me that she had invited me to another training and that I never went. This is a lie because he never told me anything about that. I ask her if I can return to work and she tells me that she would talk to her boss and let me know. I've been waiting for your answer for weeks, I've called, I've left voice messages and they never answer. I guess they will not call me because I'm pregnant. That is not done! If they do not want me to work with them, they have to say it and not keep quiet, making me wait. Moral: Never work there. The salary for being DSP is very miserable and they have no consideration for one having previous studies. I feel like I was discriminated against because I was pregnant. I will take legal action on this. I was hired as DSP. Take a long training with Nora (Human Resources) and with the new co-workers.
