Do NOT, NOT, NOT waste your money!!! Where shall I begin?  Ok, first off, the owner is a HOT MESS!  Very, very unprofessional.  First off, the owner should immediately start by spending some of the money she "steals", from panicked people, to hire a receptionist.  Someone who can answer calls and questions, and in turn maybe book a reasonable appointment or two.  Next off, she should spend some money on print outs, to give her customers.  That way the customers don't have to waste 30 minutes taking pictures of instructions, she has in a binder, on how to take care of their hair after getting the treatment.  NOW let's move on to my experience with their service.  I called Lice Away Today in a total and utter panic. I saw a bug in my daughter's hair. I, as any mother would, freaked out.  I didn't have a clue where to start and what to do.  I was honestly going to do a lice treatment myself but after looking online, I wasn't sure I could effectively eradicate the lice completely.   You see horror stories of families battling these bugs for months before resorting to professional help.  So I did what I thought was best.  I called, who I thought, was a professional.  I called Lice Away Today.  After talking to the owner, she convinced me I needed to take the whole family to get checked and my daughter to be treated immediately.  So, we all took the 40+ min drive to Tampa.  She checked all 4 of us and found nits in 3 of our heads but didn't have time to treat us all.  Which is nott the way she made it sound on the phone..  So she put oil in my daughter's hair and my husband's, eventhough he was clean.  She told us what to do, booked appointments for the following day and sent us on our way.  She frightened me to the point that I convinced my mother to come with us the next day and I notified my daughters school and friends.   So the next day comes and we head back to Tampa a second time.  IT took hours for the treatments to be performed because it was only her and another woman. They had to treat my daughter, son, mother and myself.  My daughter and I both got the full treatment with the good ole 30 day guarantee.  This all occurred the start of xmas break, about two weeks ago, which leads me to today.  As I had stated, I had informed my daughters school that she had lice over break.  I dropped my daughter off at school this morning and 20 min later, get a call to pick her up. They checked her hair and found some nits. I immediately called the owner at Lice Away Today and she was still, so unprofessional, and told me that she couldn't talk to me.  I needed to speak to her, before I got to my daughter's school.   So I kept calling and calling.  She finally was able to speak with me.  After all the money I spent, she had the gaul to tell me that there would still be nits in her hair but they're dead and that's fine.  Well guess what genius, it's  NOT fine with the school.  My daughter is not allowed back until all the nits are gone!!!!  ALL OF THEM!!!! Did I, or did I not, pay for a full treatment.  Which included combing all the nits out my daughter's hair?  What the heck did I pay for . This is the best part, the owner had the audacity to tell me that I can bring my daughter in at 11am, back to Tampa,  and it will be $10 for every 10 minutes to comb out the nits.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!  So I then questioned this 30 day guarantee.  She informed me that since we all didn't get the full treatment, the guarantee doesn't apply regardless of the fact that  my daughter and I received  the full treatment.  After spending over $600 she wanted to charge me more money!!!   Now it was a good thing that we brought my mother, because she had nits, however everyone else my daughter had contact with was clear.   I promise you when I say , don't waste your money on this business.   This woman is not honest.  She is a predator who takes advantage of people who are in a panic.  Let's not forget she has a few screws loose in her head. Here's the review 'you' begged me to write. And no I will not refer anyone to you., ever!!  Anyone reading this, please take a breath and make a few calls. There are people that will travel to you, are cheaper and provide the same services.  Take a breath. You can get past this without being taken advantage of.
