Ararat Garden

They started off great but after about two months their service quality declined. I paid for my front yard and back. They would only get the front yard and wouldn't even go into the backyard. They also stopped edging the lawn. I brought this up to the owner and he dismissed my issues, I had to keep bringing it up. I brought up that they hadn't been to my residence to perform the agreed upon service and he argued with me stating they come biweekly. I have outdoor cameras that keep feed for months, I advised him of such and guaranteed him they had not come to the residence. He did not answer me. I do not recommend this service if you are looking for professionals who will be accountable for their work or lack there of.

My husband and I purchased a new construction home in 2021, and hated the landscaping that was put in with the house. The plants were overcrowded in the beds, and had recently died with the cold snap. We had Ararat come in for a quote, and they gave us the best price out of several other companies. Jose was quick to respond, and sent several different design options within our budget and desired maintenance level. He understood our feedback - coming from two non-gardeners. Edwin and his team worked hard on install day to remove what looked like an overgrown jungle and added new plants, gravel, and pavers. Our house has never looked better! When we decided our front yard needed xeriscaping and pretty much a total makeover we knew we needed a competent landscaping contractor who could handle a major excavation. After half a dozen quotes we decided to put our trust in Ararat Garden with our project. Many contractors can promise the world and then deliver very little! Ararat Garden is not one of those companies. They exceeded our expectations right from the beginning, starting with the initial CAD design and all the way through to the end of the project. Everything was installed exactly as per contract. Edwin went over and above to make sure everything was perfect! Edwin was well-versed in the local geography, topography and biota, including plant and tree selections, soil types, climate and wind specifics, maintenance procedures, irrigation and landscape design. I have worked with contractors professionally for over thirty years and I can honestly tell you Ararat Garden is exceptional! I wholeheartedly recommend Ararat Garden as a well-qualified, highly experienced and honest company to meet your landscape requirements.

If youre looking for a landscaper we HIGHLY recommend Ararat Garden. We couldnt be happier with everything they did. From our first conversation with Jose to working with Edwin and his team everything went smoothly. They were incredibly responsive, prompt, hardworking, accountable and Edwin made sure everything looked perfect. We were also thrilled with how reasonable the pricing was. We recently had a pool put in and our backyard looked like a muddy, nasty mess. Ararat Garden came in and transformed it into exactly what we wanted. He helped our drainage issue by putting in a French drain, replaced the sod, installed new sprinklers and repaired the sprinkler piping/wiring the pool company damaged, replaced our fence that was removed for the pool install, installed beautiful palms, flowers and a rock walkway. Edwin and team were a breath of fresh air to work with after the nightmare we went through building a pool. I wish every company was this easy, dedicated and enjoyable to work with. I can guarantee you wont be disappointed if you hire Ararat Garden for anything you need done in your yard.

Overall, am I very satisfied with the work done by Ararat Garden. Edwin was very professional and thorough. We paid approximately $1200 for ~600 sqft area and almost another $1200 to replace our dilapidated irrigation system. Edwin was able to give an immediate quote for the sod, but not the irrigation system until the invoice was emailed prior to the work being started. Our realtor stated the quote was too high and suggested other landscapers afterwards, but we didn't mind helping a locally family owned business. There were few open seams and gaps between the patches and the house that were not filled, and they mulched an area without discussing that with me first; but it still looks nice. I received a thorough walk through of the irrigation system, but didn't receive the instruction manual for the new system as I requested. Prior to leaving, no additional lawn service(s) was offered to help maintain the lawn. That was a bit disappointing and a lost opportunity for their business. Since TruGreen periodically inquire to care for my yard, I will give the contract to them.
