Bayleaves Indian Restaurant

I have ordered catering from them multiple times. Food is always good. But last time I ordered Samosas from them, and I feel like they literally took Ashoka's frozen samosas, fried them and gave them to me. And they charged me $1.5 for one samosa. I would still be okay but before ordering I specifically asked them if they made it fresh on the day off and they said they do. I hope this was only an exception because I do like their food and I want to continue to be their customer.

Ordered Chicken Varutharachathu, Kerela fish curry, aloo paratha and goat biryani. Husband got sick from the food. Said chicken tasted off (told that to the server too..server said hmm and walked away lol). I didnt get sick but my problem was average tasting food. The chicken and fish had similar sauce base and had average taste. Aloo paratha was mostly dough and hardly any aloo. 2 starts fir biryani and service. Those were decent. Im pregnant and was hungry so ate the food. I didnt expect it to be authentic Indian food but at least expected above average food. But definitely not worth the price at all.

It was disappointing. I had an amazing experience during my previous visits. Poor customer service. Server the host lacked in trust in serving or speaking with us. If you need a jaw workout you should order the chicken 65. Kerala parotta was not fresh definitely frozen kawan parotta. Both curries (malabar chicken and chicken vartharchuda) tasted the same. Poor service!! So dissatisfied and disappointed.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Tampa. They staff is so kind and provide exceptional service. The food is beyond delicious. My wife and I ordered the garlic shrimp and samosas as appetizers; for lunch, chicken Tika masala, chicken biryani and a bread basket. There was so much food left over that we two extra meals. Please treat yourself and go to this wonderful restaurant. You wont regret it. I cant wait to go back.
