We recently joined the Moose in Hudson and decided to venture out to others and see what they are like. We went to Lodge 1741 and they were having a benefit for a woman who is ill. No one spoke to us while we were there. Were surprised. My husband, who is legally blind, got up to use the Men's Room and a gentleman walked behind him to show him where it was. A female - not a lady in my book - hollered "the blind leading the blind", at which point people laughed. My husband just told me this. I only wish that this person does not get the same affliction, and if she does, someone makes her feel as embarrassed and down as my husband felt. Needless to say, we will not be back to this Lodge. My husband's name is Bob but my name is Marie, his wife.
