Park Avenue Cleaners

Brought in 13 pieces...8 jackets and 5 blouses including a shell. The shell needed spotting in the front and underarms. When I picked up my order in the 10428 N Dale Mabry Store I noticed the shell was exactly the way I brought it in. I requested they redo it and the young guy in the front refused to redo it. I told him I had 10 pants at home I was bringing in tomorrow and I would only do so if he redid the shell. He refused. So I told him although I’ve been a customer for over ten years I will never come back. He didn’t care.

I had used this establishment for several years with mostly satisfactory service. Recently they lost a sport coat. I informed them and hoped they would find it in the next few days. They never found it. Treated me rudely for asking about it. Didn't offer anything not even a cleaning refund for the lost article (prepaid). I repeatedly ask for a number to speak with a owner or someone with authority. They would not give me a name or contact #. I was told someone would call me 4 times. Never got a call. Will never use them again.

I have been going to Park Avenue Cleaners every week for over 10 years and have been a very loyal customer. I bring in dozens of items a month and have spent thousands of dollars with them over the years. Yesterday, I asked them to reclean an item that I still had the tag on and was still dirty and was not brought in that way. The customer service person could not assist and directed me to Leo via Facetime and he advised that he would not reclean the item and instead would need to charge me. The shirt is most likely runined due to their negligence but I was giving them an opportunity to make it right and they did not. I politely asked for the owner's contact info and was told they could not give that info out and he would tell me the same thing that they would not clean the shirt. I advised that i would move my business to another cleaners and they did not care......Under the previous ownership they were always easy to deal with, but this was a horrible customer service experience. It is unfortunate but after 10 years we will now find a cleaners that appreciates our business, and provides quality service which Park Avenue does not.

I witnessed a nightmare today of sorts. Walked into an empty desk area with only two customers in line an hour before closing. One customer said at the counter giving a very long john of explanation for something or another and Counting change on the counter with the cashier. The other was waiting someone patiently to be served. That is when the real nightmare began. He gave his tickets and had his items brought out and hung meet me in front of him. He checked for an apparent staying here requested removed, and from almost two feet away I could see the additional things that were added, according to him, but whoever the person was who cleaned his item on his cream color jacket. The sound of Horror that came out of him, still somewhat polite and repressed, make me take a few steps back. I walked out of the door with my iTunes and look back to see him pacing back and forth trying to keep his composure. I had had an experience with this business a few years before when I took in a bridesmaid's dress to be dry cleaned and the left with a stain that I did not walk into the building with. When I stated this to the attendant , she added frustration to my Horror by denying that they ever did anything to cause the stain and told me that I may have walked in with that staying for all she knew. I left quite upset . I actually went over to Carrollwood coin laundromat across the street where are usually did business for laundry and the attendant help me get the stain off the dress free of charge. I put my dry clean only dress into the washing machine and it came out spot free. I will never venture back to Park Avenue Dry Cleaners again. And I will advise anyone I know not to go near that business as well. someone has no clue how to dry clean, and I'm not willing to gamble any of my items for $2.50. Like my mother always said, you get what you pay for.
