Dr. Nguyen sold me a flipper (single front tooth on a snap in plate), Unfortunately, it was not initially disclosed to me the potential drawbacks. I was simply told that it was a temporary device. Unfortunately, I could not speak clearly with it since it took up too much space at the roof of my mouth. It was also not initially disclosed to me that I could not eat with it or sleep with it. The device was entirely impractical for me. I would need to take it in and out of my mouth whenever I received a phone call so I could speak clearly and I receive phone calls all the time. I cannot believe they did not disclose all of the potential drawbacks of this device. I contacted Dr. Nguyen's assistant regarding my issues and received no support on the matter. Also, I was informed by his assistant after I received the flipper that if I wanted a tooth without these myriad issues, it would be a $900 permanent partial; it would have been far more professional for this to have been disclosed up front.
