Point Drainage & Erosion

I hired Mike Kelley, gave him a $1000 deposit on 4/25/22 to secure my place in line. I wanted the drain installed before June rainy season. I was told I would hear in 10 days with plans and it should be4 weeks to get started. I did not receive plans for 4 weeks was told that the start date would be 5/31 and that came and left. I requested my deposit backe on 6:3 via email as there has been no communications from the . No email replies, phone replies and my money has not been refunded as of yet. They seem nice initially but don’t communicate and lie and stole my money. I will now have to follow up with an attorney and a lot of aggravation to try an recoup my deposit Run away from them- it’s not worth it

Mike Kelly is a great salesman to give confidence in the project to be completed but, after that he is no longer involved and it’s all downhill after that with the office staff. Poor communication from management, not responsive, and guesstimates cost as they see fit. No one knows what is going on in the office. They make excuses to cover their unorganized operations. They do not pay their workers timely as their workers will call directly and often to ask for payment. No leadership presence to ensure the correct work was completed. Please do not waste your time or money working with them.

I had a serious drainage problem between my house and my neighbor. At worst rains we would have 2 " of water from house to house. No rain gutters and a lot of impervious area feeding the problem. I now have rain gutters. My back side yard stayed a marsh for days. Mike Kelly came out, assesed the problem and proposed a drain system running to the front and back of my lot along with drain boxes strategically placed. In addition they added a drain in my Lanai that ran to the drain. They connected my down spouts into the new drain I was given detailed plans, quantity list and other engineering details. I had another company say "trust us, we will take care of it." No plans.The people that came out to do the work also had the plans and we discussed and made some changes. They were very careful around all utilities. They cut the grass over the trench and neatly replaced it afterwards. We have had several big rains since the work and no standing water or marsh! You can watch the water from my neighbors roof run along the ground and right into the drain boxes. My pool deck no longer floods. I have no complaints about Point Drainage and in fact am looking to do more work on the other side of my house.

One of my properties was filling with water and was causing its basement to flood. After calling them very concerned, Mike Kelley came and saw me the next day and walked me through how to best solve my flooding problem. 4 days later he sent me plans and an estimate and had workers out at my house the next week. They did impeccable work and my yard and basement have not flooded since. I was impressed by there professionalism and quality work and I will certainly be coming back to them for any of my construction and drainage needs on my other properties.
