Train late not good for business

First let me say when I spoke to customer service from Amtrak I had an arrangement for curbside pickup with a wheelchair. That is not what happened. When we arrived to the station we were aware that the train was running late. But the Amtrak app stated that the train would try and make up the time. My sister went inside to inform the ticket agent that we needed curbside pickup with a wheelchair just like Amtrak customer service told us to do. Well my sister was informed that they were closing the desk since the train was late. And we welcome to ask someone to get the chair for me. My sister was beyond livid as was I. This is what we PAID for and were assured what would take place. My sister came back outside to see what else we can do. Agree went back inside and the agents closed up the window. Metal window all secured. Gone. Now I'm angry because I cannot walk the long distance which is why I needed the wheelchair. Don't you know the security guard brought out the wheelchair which he and my family helped me on. At this point I just wanted to get going inside to get cool while we waited for the train. But on a positive note, the station was immaculate! Lots of seating and plenty of outlets to charge your devices! Thank goodness since our train wound up being 5 hours late!! AND there's a Publix nearby where we got food while we waited. UPDATE: I would like to apologize to the owner of the station. I was not aware that I was addressing my concerns to the wrong party. I have reached out to Amtrak. With no results yet. But thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. And once again I apologize for the misplacement of my review.
