CITY Furniture Corporate Office

City Furniture tells you they will deliver furniture directly to your condominium and they collect more than $300 for the delivery of the furniture. Then, once the furniture is available after being on back order, they send you a third party delivery agreement and tell you it has to be signed before the delivery of the furniture. That agreement says they will only deliver it to the lobby of the condo, unless you pay a “per floor charge”, which is excessive. When asked why things changed, the sales rep says that the third party contract was signed after I ordered the furniture, and City Furniture will not honor our original agreement regarding delivery. The corporate office confirmed they would not ship without me signing the “new agreement”. When I cancelled the sale, they refused to refund the entire balance charged to my credit card, and they have refused to provide any justification (or response) for refusing to refund all of the money they charged to my account. This company has no integrity. They get a 1 for this review, only because I cannot give it a zero.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a table 10/22 they told me it would be in stock 12/22. Then I received six chairs and the table base but was told there were no table tops because all the tops that were received in December were either delivered or returned as damaged. I also noticed the based was damaged. They brought another base ( since they had no more tables).I received a general email saying the set was back in stock soo I immediatey called and the table top was to be delivered 5/17/23. That morning I received a call that while they were inspecting it in the warehouse ready to put it on the truck they noticed it was damaged. They rescheduled for Friday 5/18/23. Thrsday night when I didn't get a call with a time I called them and they said there was no more in stock. I said I want to cancel it and they said I was too late. If I could give them a 0, I would

Do not buy from this company the warranty is a joke. I bought a defective product and the company refuses to fix the issue. They will not let me return it and refuse to cover it with warranty. The worst experience I have encountered. The sofa was expensive and its junk
