        This restaurant is what it feels like going to have family dinner with your Italian grandparents. The food was authentic and incredibly good. I had the ricotta spinach ravioli and my husband had the halibut, and both were fantastic. The ricotta cheesecake was amazing! Spend your time here with a family owned business and do not waste it on the commercial ventures at the mall..

        Like most people, we had fallen for the glamour of the nearby Bal Harbour shop restaurants, but on our last night we went off the beaten trail and found a highly Google rated Italian restaurant called Specchio. Coming from the NJ/NY/ Philly Italian food scene, we were pleasantly surprised by the food, the hospitality and the candor of the owners. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a real dining experience to check out Specchio.
