I can't rate Omega Watt Electric for their work yet because they did not do any services at my home, only quotes for potential services. That same day I received this survey from them (??). I am only giving 3 stars because although they were polite and offered to assess my entire home in addition to just the bathroom, they quoted very high prices, and then sent me an INVOICE (as if they had already done the services! and higher than their verbal quote) then sent 2 additional invoices 3 and 6 days later, instead of sending as quotes or estimates. And although I have told them more than once I would contact them if I decided to utilize their services, they have texted and called me several times. I do plan to contact them when I am ready, but I do not like the way it was all handled thus far. ***This portion follows owner's response***: After I was given the verbal quote the rep at my house brought up his ipad and asked me to sign it - there was nothing visible on the screen except for a place for me to sign! Surprised, I asked "what am I signing here? All I see is a line for my signature" and he expressed it was to acknowledge the quote! I planned to look at the financing, and explained I needed to see the breakdown of all the additional offers such as a new LED light and extras in addition to all of the Alumiconn Connectors as I didn't know if it was all necessary. I graciously receive your apology in the response to my review. From the time I called and spoke with Kimberly it was an absolute pleasure. She kept in touch with me informing me as to when the electricians would arrive. They arrived right on time.
Last week I had appointments with two other electric companies. One told me theyd be there between 8-11am. I waited and waited and when I called after 11am they said they could send someone out at 2pm and acted like they were doing me a favor. Other company same thing, didnt show up on time and didnt know when theyd be there.
Lee Wright and James Cormany were the electricians who came to my home from Omega Watt Electric to do the work. They were professional and friendly. Explained everything in terms I could understand. Gave me a price upfront. I knew I could trust them and as a single widow thats very important.
It was not an easy job but they worked tirelessly in the heat. Not a complaint just a great attitude.
I highly recommend them. Dont waste your time going with another company. They get the job done (and it looks great) and fees are reasonable.
Of course Im hoping that I dont need an electrician in the future but they are my go to company. I will refer any friends and family that need work to them. I plan on blasting their excellence on Facebook sites too!
