We were out of town for a couple of weeks. When we came back the tankless water heater was not working properly. I called several companies but Competitive was the only one who was Authorized -And- available to come out in less than a week. Actually that afternoon! We found out we needed to have this unit flushed annually, which we had never done. They flushed the unit in contact with the manufacturers representatives. After that they found the check valve in the recirculating system had failed, further contributing to the problem. The original system had been installed in a way that they did not have parts on their truck to replace. No problem, the system would work for a few days without the recirculating system. Three days later they returned, replaced the check valve & rebuilt the pipes to enable easier service in the future. AND- they warranty their work for One Year! We will call them next year to flush the system. (BTW, I have worked with contractors before so I was happy with the results & prices.) Services: Plumbing pipe repair, Water heater repair
