Sarasota Bridge to Reading

My son's math skills were gifted and needed his reading skills lifted to match. Once he worked with Sarasota Bridge to Reading he recieved the skill set and phonics he needed. Now he reads above his grade level. Thank-you!

Mr. DJ is an absolute gem! After neuropsych testing revealed that our ten-year-old voracious reader actually struggled with reading comprehension, Mr. DJ started working with him once a week. We saw quick improvements in comprehension, our son's grades went up in all subjects, and he had a blast and looked forward to their time together. Highly recommend!

Rita has played an imperative role in my son's journey with reading. We had done tutoring before - in person and over the computer, with lackluster results. I was very skeptical that my son's attention would be held for an entire session online, let alone that he would take anything away from that session, but Miss Rita has proved to me that anything is possible. My son's grade in Language Arts has gone from an F to a B in the 5 months that he's been working with Rita and his confidence at school has improved tremendously. Not only has Miss Rita greatly helped my son succeed, she has also been very understanding to all of our last minute life surprises that come up along the way and flexible with rescheduling when needed. We appreciate Miss Rita and her services so much, I can't recommend her and Sarasota Bridge to Reading enough, it has been such a wonderful journey watching my son's reading ability grow and improve.

Miss Rita is awesome. My daughter who was struggling with her fluency, was performing at an average level even though she is more capable. Miss Rita's tutoring has helped fill the gaps in her reading foundation, and as a result she is flourishing. She went up 75 points in her iready diagnostic this year! Also, she looks forward to the sessions. I will continue having Miss Rita tutor my daughter in the fall.

I cannot begin to say how much of a blessing Ms Rita is!! My son and I have been working with her for a little less than a year now, and Ive already seen a huge difference in his attitude and understanding of reading. Prior to beginning tutoring, he had a lot of difficulty with both reading comprehension and written expression. Since tutoring, his love for reading has grown as well as his enjoyment for writing! His grades in school have also risen from a borderline C/low B to an A in Reading! He looks forward to his time with Ms Rita! Thank you for everything!
