My many thanks go out to Dr. Sell, his Surgical Team and all of the SMH employees who provided outstanding care and services to me during my stay in the Hospital. Dr. Sell came highly recommended to me by friends and SMH Hospital staff is an outstanding/very talented Cardiac Surgeon. He definitely met all of the expectations that I had of him as the Surgeon performing my by-pass procedure. I strongly feel that anyone in need of Cardiac care should consider Dr. Sell and his team for there Cardiac treatment needs.

I had a surprise CABG with Dr. Sell. Nice guy. Educated me on the wonders of the IMA. After CABG surgery, I woke up with a mutated leg. He did a SIMA vs. a BIMA. Given my previous health issues, that seems to be a remaining lifetime sentence of hell. My suggestion, find a surgeon that is educated on the latest surgical procedures. I think it's important to outlive your loved ones, but medical stupidity makes that very hard.

I went to the SMH emergency room, Tuesday morning with horrible stomach problems. Test were run and it was decided I needed a stress test. Long story short, all of my heart valves were clogged. Dr. Sell came into my room the next morning and told my wife and I that I needed either a minimum of a triple bypass. The operation took place the following Monday and Dr. Sell did replace 3 arteries and determined the fourth was too much risk because of the opening. If there is one Cardiovascular Surgeon in the USA that rates the highest, it is Dr. Jeffrey Sell. He saved my life and I will be forever grateful that he was my Surgeon. Terry L. Fine Sarasota Fl.
