        Very sad to hear that Alain, the owner and Chef has died. The restaurant is now closed. Alain took great pride in his food and will be sadly missed.

        I am devastated to hear that my favorite chef in all the world has passed on! the last time I was there, I told him I wanted to take him home in my pocket! a great loss to the culinary world and Sarasota...............

        Do not judge a book by its cover. This restaurant has friendly service and great authentic French food. We had the duck and it was delicious!
