    We booked a room through Beckmann properties. Unfortunately day of the trip my Fiance tested positive for COVID-19 so we had to quarantine We called and tried to get a refund and the property manager would not refund our money. He said we should still come and they would disinfect the property as needed. So obviously Chris Browne is not concerned with the safety and well being of others. Please do not book through this company. Only good businesses would understand with this crazy pandemic going on that this should be the one case where they should understand.

    Don't be fooled by the good cop, bad cop. All three employees in this office can not be trusted. The property I rented turned out to be full of issues which was stressful but the way I was treated and the lack of professionalism and lack of respect for another person was a learning experience I hope I can help someone to never have by writing a review so you have the opportunity to avoid this company. I didn't know there were scams like this and companies could get away with this type of behavior and stay open. The driveway and walkway flooded regularly (to the point that my dog would swim to get to the front door) then the sewer would back up in the shower and they would blame me (I grew up with a septic I am extremely aware!)Then they blamed it on the type of TP I was using so I did as I was told and changed that. The shower and toilet would still back up again and again. I'd go days using the hose to shower outside and my neighbor was kind enough to allow me to use her home before a plumber arrived ---- days later! The plumber said to me that he told them many times the lines need to be fixed properly for YEARS and he will likely just be back again as this is a quick fix not a long-term fix. Then the kitchen sink backed up and I was doing dishes using the neighbor's hose as I began to feel terrible asking a neighbor for any more favors. Such an uncomfortable situation I was put in. The 1st month I was there, The Town turned off the water to the property, the previous tenant or landlord didn't pay the water bill for months and the office stated I should cover the backed up $300+ bill to get it turned back on quicker. Glad I didn't fall for that one! Rather, I didn't have water until the next week ! Does that sound like a nightmare and exaggeratory, well it isn't and I've got plenty of photos. The dryer stopped heating up but would spin and they said, for 3 weeks a handyman would be sent out. It never happened and I had to hire a handyman and it was a $6 part. Over a $6 part I had to go to a laundry mat for 3 weeks because they are so unprofessional. I'll let the photos describe how filthy the vents were and I paid to get them cleaned because even though in the lease it says they have to change the filters and keep the system clean, I took care of that myself as well because with the water intrusion I was nervous about what I saw in those vents and how the filter looked in just a month's time. The water issues and large trees, unmaintained, I believe brought about a ton of snakes, cockroaches and rats to the property which being in FL and new to the State, I simply thought those rascals were normal but now being a FL home owner - I can say, for certain, the amount of those bugs and rodents was not NORMAL and is not a FL thing! It is a property maintenance issue.
