Bond and Company Jewelers Inc

The selection is small, but they had exactly what we wanted in matching marriage bands. Service was attentive and they were happy to wait for us while we compared prices and shopped around!

The Bond Jewlers location at the Sarasota Square Mall has subpar customer service. My husband bought my engagement ring on February 2, 2014. Since then we have had to go back because one specific diamond has continued to fall out over and over again. The first time it happened was only 2 WEEKS after my husband purchased it! Each time it has happened we went to the store, filled out the necessary form and I was without a ring for 2 weeks while it got fixed. The last time we dealt with this they offered to replace my set but I declined because I'm (obviously) sentimental about it. Fast forward to this past Saturday (12/17/16) and it happened again for the 6TH TIME. We go down there (as we always do when it happens) and this time spoke with Eric (the manager). It turns out that out of the 5 previous times this has happened ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE DOCUMENTED IT!!! He asks if we have any paperwork so we give him the envelope that contains everything we've ever been given from Bond (which of course we were never given a receipt or anything when we picked up the ring). He asks what I'd ideally like to happen. I had emotionally detached myself from the ring and was prepared to walk out with a new set (since it was offered last time) but Eric tells me that this is above his head and he has to speak with 'Mike'. WAIT..... so last time it wasn't above his head to be able to give us a new set but this time it is?! We go in for our every six month inspections so this should be a no brainer! Eric tells us we'll have an answer from 'Mike' by Wednesday 12/21/16. Well, here we are at 5:27pm on 12/21/16 and both my husband and myself have called but Eric has No answer for us. The lack of customer service at Bond in the Sarasota Square Mall is mind boggling and the incompetence of some of the employees is down right embarrassing. How did NO ONE document the 5 previous times we were there?! How is there NO paper trail? Do they not save invoices from sending things to the lab?! I'm incredibly disappointed that we're tied to this jewelry store for the rest of our lives.
