I booked with Jessica in January 2021 after about a month of debating on which planner I should use or if I should even use one. I explained to her what I was expecting and how nervous I was to hire a planner, but she assured me she she would be able to help ease my worry and make it a smooth process. After talking for a couple weeks and customizing a plan we felt would work best for me, I signed my contract and paid my deposit of $1900. At that point it was like crickets. Before I signed she followed up every couple days asking if I had questions, calling to see how I was etc. As soon as she got the contract and her money, I felt like I had to annoy her to hear anything. She knew what my expectation on communication was, and I did not get that at all. After 2 months, all I got one was an accompanied venue tour & a short list of vendors for my venue, nothing else (I was supposed to receive a full list of recommended vendors). After realizing I was only 7-8 months away from the wedding and Jessica had not helped me plan anything, I ended up doing it myself as vendors were telling me I was already planning on pretty short notice, and they were all shocked my planner hadn’t started/ suggested I start booking yet. Several things on my contract were not done for me as they should have been done, so I asked her for a refund of my deposit and to cancel the contract since I had done most of the job for her and I didn’t feel as if we were a good fit. After about 3 weeks (it takes her days to respond), she went back and forth practically arguing with me and accusing me of not being truthful in my reason for canceling.. she finally canceled my contract, but kept my deposit. So $1900 went out the window for work she did not do. I even asked for a partial refund and she refused. She knew I was on a tight budget, but she somehow feels she’s deserving of that deposit even though I canceled within reasonable timing for her to book another wedding. BEWARE AND BE SURE SHE WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE YOU PAY!!!

My wedding would not have been the same without these two! The flowers were out of this world and Jessica made sure that everything was set up nicely at the reception. She went above and beyond. I cannot recommend them more. Absolutely stunning work.

Lovely family owned zoo. Today we watched tortoises at "play", lol. The animals are well cared for and the zoo is growing weekly!
