I had a facial and my husband had a massage. Two basic services, we enjoyed our time. The spa is as you see it, clean and nice. Services were good but basic. I will say the prices are insane, and thats okay because you expect that going to woodhouse if youve done your research. I went to check out and my total was $286 for basic facial and basic massage under an hour each. To me that is so expensive so respectfully I just couldnt really afford a tip. So when I was checking out I pushed on the kiosk no tip. The front desk lady didnt saying anything and I said thank you and turned around and waited for my husband. Two mins later when he came out we were pushing the door open to leave and the same front desk lady said Do you guys wanna leave a gratuity? I said no we are good. Thank you. I just thought it was rude for her to call me out like that. I just paid $300 for services, if you want your employees to make more money, pay them more. Stop making the customer feel bad, we are paying these insane prices and then on top of that we need to pay the employees salary? Its ridiculous this tipping culture in America. Its not fair, these companies know that we will just tip, and honestly I cant afford it anymore. $300 for under an hour each is more than Enough for the services. Service was good but its the fact that I shouldnt feel bad to having to pay so much extra for a tip when its already over priced and the front desk women needs to learn not to be calling out people like that. We definitely wont be back, there are hundreds of spas for more reasonable prices just as nice.!
