We went on St. Patrick's Day for the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Excellent, large portions. We've always had a good time here, whether it's Mulligan Stew or Fish & Chips. Nice place. OUTSTANDING fish and chips reminds me of the tavern/bar fish fry from the rust belt that i grew up with. Light, crispy batter, real fries and malt vinegar - yum!

Price charged was higher than shown on the menu - the manager, a young fella, was extremely rude when we questioned it, said "prices have gone up," and was not willing to offer a refund until I pushed it, accused him of ripping people off. His response, "if a couple of bucks is make or break for you, I'll give it to you." I replied that it seemed to be make or break for him, and yes, on principle, I wanted the refund. He shoved two crumpled dollar bills at me and said, "here, enjoy," and walked away. Disgraceful attitude and disgusting that they think they can charge customers any amount they choose, regardless of what is listed on the menu. We won't be back for sure The restaurants response to this review says all you need to know about their attitude. No explanation for why they bill customers more than what is listed on the menu, and just insulting a customer for a legitimate complaint - and we were NOT there on a Friday night, we avoid eating out on weekends in this area quite simply because they are busy. Very immature response on their part.
