Had a very pleasant dinner at Village Inn this evening. Our server, Sadie, was the only server tonight, but her manager, Eric, was helping out as well and the two of them easily kept things moving nicely. Eric even went around and chatted with diners and made it feel like a nice old-school diner experience. Now, for the food, it was excellent! My wife and I usually go to this VI for breakfast food (which is always great), but we decided to be different and try dinner items. Our entrees were amazing! The Chicken Ranch sandwich I had was perfectly cooked with plenty of fries, and my wife had a classic cheese burger which she was pleasantly surprised was actually cooked medium as she ordered. We concluded our dinner with pie and I have to say, wow. Again, we both tried new pies and they were both heavenly. (A nice final note is that our toddler daughters meal was free-which is a current promotion.) A lovely evening!

Nice place to go if you're unsure about what you exactly want. They have a little bit of everything to satisfy most palettes. Save room for pie. They have some of the best pie in the area.
